Book 12–18 months in advance for best selection of dates and venues. Shorter timelines are sometimes possible—ask us about your options!
3. Can we visit the resort before booking?
Yes! Many resorts offer site inspection trips at reduced rates, often with a credit if you book. We’ll coordinate your visit.

4. What destinations are most popular for South Asian destination weddings?
Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and other Caribbean spots are most popular due to their experience, value, and flexibility for Indian weddings.
5. Are resorts familiar with South Asian wedding customs and requirements?
Yes! Many top resorts host Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, and fusion weddings often, and have Indian chefs, flexible event spaces, and experienced vendors.
6. Can we bring outside vendors (photographer, DJ, makeup artist) from home?
Most resorts allow outside vendors, but there may be fees (“vendor fees”). Some waive fees if your vendor stays at the resort. We’ll clarify for you.

7. Can we have all traditional ceremonies and multiple events at a destination wedding?
Absolutely! Multi-day events (Mehndi, Sangeet, Haldi, wedding, reception) are welcome at many resorts. We’ll find the right venue for your schedule.
8. How do we arrange for an Indian priest, pandit, granthi, or officiant at the destination?
Bring your own, or we can help you arrange a local officiant through trusted vendors or the resort.
9. Is authentic Indian food available at destination resorts?
Yes! Most of our partner resorts offer on-site Indian chefs or work with specialist caterers for all your dietary needs.
10. Are there restrictions on fire, music, or other aspects of Indian weddings at resorts?
Some destinations and resorts have policies on fire, loud music, or fireworks. We’ll clarify all relevant rules up front.

11. Can you help with guest travel and group bookings?
Yes—this is our specialty! We arrange group flights, room blocks, airport transfers, and handle guest communications.
12. What happens if our group size changes after booking?
Group sizes often fluctuate. We’ll manage updates with the resort to keep your contract and perks fair.
13. Can children attend our destination wedding?
Absolutely. Many resorts are family-friendly with kids’ activities. We’ll recommend properties that suit your needs.
14. Can you help with destination bachelor/bachelorette parties?
Yes! We can help you plan pre-wedding events at the destination or elsewhere.
15. Do you help with travel insurance for guests?
Absolutely. We offer travel insurance options and recommend coverage for peace of mind.
16. What if someone in our group needs a visa for the destination?
We provide guidance on entry requirements and visa processes for your destination.

17. How does the legal marriage process work at a destination wedding?
Most couples complete the legal registration at home and hold the religious/symbolic ceremony at the destination. We can advise on destination requirements.
18. Who provides day-of coordination at the destination?
Day-of coordination is managed by the local resort wedding planner. We prepare everything in advance and work closely with their team.
19. What is included in your wedding planning services?
Our core planning services—free with group booking—include venue selection, group travel, guest communication, scheduling, vendor referrals, and coordination with the on-site planner.
20. How do payments and deposits work for our group?
Typically, you’ll pay a deposit for your date/room block; guests pay individually for travel/accommodation. We provide payment schedules and reminders.
Guest Experience & Special Requests
21. Can we bring decor, clothing, or gifts from home?
Yes, but check import rules for your destination. We’ll guide you on best practices for shipping or bringing essentials.
22. Can you help with special requests (e.g., dietary needs, accessibility, etc.)?
Yes! We coordinate with resorts and vendors to accommodate dietary, mobility, and other special requirements.
23. What if a guest has to cancel last minute?
We help coordinate cancellations and explain resort policies regarding refunds or credits. Travel insurance is recommended.
24. Can we have both religious and civil ceremonies at our destination wedding?
Yes, many couples do both—often a legal wedding at home and a religious or symbolic ceremony at the destination.
